    I would say start out with a shared account while trying to build your brand. Once you start noticing usage is going up, try a VPS. Just work your way up, and good luck!

    If you are starting a New website then you can consider a Shared hosting package and later you can upgrade to next level at any point of time.

    Totally agree.
    And if your webhost asks you to move webhost, then backup your account and move.

    Jumping straight to a dedicated server would be the wrong move! Never, ever start off on a dedicated server because you'll never know the next months outcome of what you're doing. I've done that before and learnt from my mistakes.

    As for advise... Work your way through the hosting chain;

    Shared Hosting -> VPS -> Hybrid VPS/Dedicated Server

    I followed that path and now I currently operate a few dedicated servers, more than most but if you follow the book, you'll be fine

    There is no harm to start with shared hosting account later as your requirement increases you can gradually upgrade to VPS and finally to a dedicated server.

    Hello
    You\\\'re making a smart move when you decide on Shared Hosting because it\\\'s a great way to lower your hosting costs right off the bat. As long as you find trustworthy companies that will help you make sure everything runs smoothly for you, you\\\'re going to find this a great way to go. However, what if you could actually lower the costs of this form of Website Hosting? It\\\'d definitely be worth it because that gives you more free cash to do other things for your site. The best deals are always going to be found in the blogs because people tend to write about their own great deals and then you have some good tips to work off of. You can also find great coupon codes out there, too, so don\\\'t forget to take a look around for those. If you can get a good deal on FFMPEG Hosting, for example, then you will be able to run a tube site like YouTube for a whole lot less. Many times you can get free set up or even half off your very first payment for hosting and this is going to save you a lot.

    Don\\\'t be afraid to thoroughly scope the site out because you never know when, by reading the fine print, you learn that you can get Unlimited Hosting for a discounted rate. Some sites will offer you extra disk space or even more bandwidth than what had been advertised if you scroll down to the bottom. Deals and offers like these are a great way to go to save yourself some money. If you search the site you just might find that they\\\'ve got extra sweet deals on a page you hadn\\\'t yet looked at. It\\\'s always worth it to root around a little bit, especially if you\\\'re wanting Video Hosting because this is a hot market that many hosting providers want to make sure they provide excellent offers for. A little looking is liable to give you big results so take your time and get something you really want.
